Ng\u01b0\u1eddi \u0111\u00e0n b\u00e0 \u0111\u00e3 ch\u00e0o \u0111\u1eddi, t\u00f4i mu\u1ed1n n\u00f3i con ng\u01b0\u1eddi, v\u00e0 gi\u1edd \u0111\u00e2y n\u00f3 c\u1ea7n x\u00e2y \u0111\u1eafp ch\u1ed7 n\u01b0\u01a1ng th\u00e2n. Nh\u00e0 ngh\u1ec7 s\u0129 di\u1ec5n t\u1ea3 th\u1eddi \u0111\u1ea1i m\u00ecnh l\u00e0m g\u00ec. N\u00f3 d\u1ef1ng n\u00ean th\u1eddi \u0111\u1ea1i.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>B\u1eedu \u00dd<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il fut un temps o\u00f9 c\u2019\u00e9tait toute une histoire pour un home qui voulait s\u2019exprimer ad\u00e9quatement de se d\u00e9faire du joug des vieilles r\u00e8gles. Quelles r\u00e8gles reste-t-il \u00e0 d\u00e9faire aujourd\u2019hui? Tout est devenu trop facile en ces temps atroces o\u00f9 la politesse veut qu\u2019on hurle avec les loups, o\u00f9 l\u2019injure est un moyen de parvenir, o\u00f9 la folie a l\u2019air de se vendre bien et o\u00f9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la r\u00e9volution amuse et enrichit les riches et affame les pauvres qu\u2019elle laisse toujours plus affam\u00e9s. La peinture de Dinh Cuong, au milieu de tout ce tintamare frivole, \u00e9tonne presque par son air de timidit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nut \u00e9clat. Aucune dissonnance. Une p\u00e2te sombre et dense, l\u00e9g\u00e8re malgr\u00e9 cela, et qui chante comme de l\u2019or. C\u2019est un or nocturne dont toute la lumi\u00e8re est tourn\u00e9e vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Cela ennuie tout d\u2019abord, et puis l\u2019on finit par aimer cette pudeur obstin\u00e9e, qui, pour sembler sans audace, n\u2019en est pas moins durement conquise. Il suffit d\u2019ailleurs de regarder Cuong au travail et l\u2019on voit que le charme simple et lisse qui s\u00e9duit lentement en ses toiles. Jamais Cuong ne l\u2019a atteint du premier coup, mais qu\u2019il est l\u2019aboutissement de longs essais o\u00f9 se conjuguent le hasard et l\u2019on ne sait quelle fatalit\u00e9. Ses toiles d\u00e9butent toujours dans l\u2019\u00e9clat. Cela commence comme une explosion de fleurs et, presque toujours, cela devient un oc\u00e9an de nuit bleue et noire, non la vieille nuit sanglante qui obs\u00e8de la m\u00e9moire de son souvenir, mais la jeunesse du monde dont tous les tr\u00e9sors enfouis s\u2019 \u00e9veillent pour illuminer de leur \u00e9clat fragile cette premi\u00e8re nuit qui s\u2019appellerait aussi bien l\u2019aurore. Car voil\u00e0 que du fond de la terre des lueurs nous viennent, que l\u2019 espace s\u2019entr\u2019ouvre dans un envol d\u2019acier, que des cristaux scintillent, tandis qu\u2019au-dessus de l\u2019ab\u00eeme, des villes en d\u00e9rive tentent d\u2019aller ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On reproche volontiers \u00e0 la peinture de Cuong de ne pas \u00eatre une image de son temps. Il est vrai qu\u2019il se donne dans l\u2019abstraction avec plaisir. Qu\u2019est-ce c\u2019est pourtant que l\u2019abstraction aujourd\u2019hui, sinon cette absence au coeur d\u2019un monde d\u00e9vast\u00e9, et de laquelle, sous peine de choir dans le d\u00e9lire, il faut que chacun tente de faire son pouvoir? Nagu\u00e8re on en a suscit\u00e9 des monstres. Les monstres maintenant s\u2019ennuient dans les mus\u00e9es et seule demeure l\u2019absense, subtile et sans visage, qui menace l\u2019homme de toute parts et l\u2019assaille jusqu\u2019en son coeur. Ah! Les heureuses \u00e9poques o\u00f9 l\u2019on avait encore \u00e0 d\u00e9truire! Aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019homme doit faire son oeuvre avec des ruines, la nuit, le d\u00e9sert. Cela est son malheur, mais l\u2019espace infiniment ouvert devant lui est aussi la plus grande chance dont il puisse r\u00eaver. Sachons gr\u00e9 \u00e0 Cuong de l\u2019avoir tent\u00e9e. Car l\u2019audace qu\u2019appelle cette aventure est peut- \u00eatre infiment plus grave que beaucoup de nos vieilles folies. Un artiste pourtant n\u2019a que faire de para\u00eetre audacieux. Il cherche tout comme chacun, et \u00e0 t\u00e2tons, un juste accord entre divers mat\u00e9riaux que lui propose le monde, et au coeur de l\u2019impossible o\u00f9 il est all\u00e9, il est admirable que Cuong a tout simple-construit quelques silhouettes de femme. Son art n\u00e9glige le paysage et la nature morte et passe spontan\u00e9ment de l\u2019abstraction aux figures humaines d\u2019un r\u00e9alisme grave qu\u2019il \u00e9claire de po\u00e9sie. Nul souci chez lui de torturer la ligne, mais sur le bleu p\u00e2le d\u2019une mer abstraite, soudain f\u00e9mit le tendre dessin d\u2019un corps nu. Pas de model\u00e9. Nul soup\u00e7on de chair. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019une \u00e9pure encore, et telle, dans son id\u00e9alit\u00e9, elle \u00e9meut avec la douceur du mensonge. Mais du mensonge, elle a aussi la monumentalit\u00e9 et cette grande femme debout, encore qu\u2019infiniment na\u00efve et flexible, surgit, dans sa matinale transparence, sur la mer calme, \u00e0 peine tir\u00e9e de l\u2019espace qui l\u2019entoure, comme le visage invraisemblablement humain de l\u2019espoir. On peut appeler cela la Naissance de V\u00e9nus. Et \u00e0 tout prendre, pourquoi pas? La femme est n\u00e9e, je veux dire l\u2019homme, et it lui faut maintenant b\u00e2tir sa demeure. Un artiste n\u2019a que faire d\u2019exprimer son temps.
